I’m trying to run the numbers on foreclosed properties. Anyone have real world examples of the process?
…bank owns property, re-lists it at X, and typically is sold for X.
Nothing is cut-and-dried here, but usually the bank sells for its listing price. Any negotiation that might be possible would take place before the bank gets around to listing the property.
You might consider getting involved in short sales, if you are looking for deals without competition. An Internet search should give you access to plenty of information regarding these.
