Where Do I Find Foreclosure Listings That Are 100% Free?

Many websites online pretend to offer 100% free access to foreclosure listings but actually require a subscription fee to access their database. When you search online for free foreclosure lists you will be surprised to find out that many of the resulting links will lead you to websites claiming to offer free access but having fees written in small print.

Hector Milla Editor of the “Free Home Foreclosure Listings” website — http://www.FreeHomeForeclosureListings.net — pointed out;

“… Such websites are usually easy to know, as they would require that you fill in your credit card details when registering. You will find out later that what they did offer you free was just a free trail membership for a couple of days after which the will deduct the subscription fee from your credit card …”

To take advantage of such websites offering free trial periods, it is advised that you cancel your registration just before the trail window expires. You however do not have to rely on free trail periods as the only means of finding 100% free foreclosure listings as there are still other ways.

One of such ways is to search more diligently online for completely free websites, they are not as many as the subscription websites but they do exist with regularly updated lists on their extensive database. Some websites keep large lists where you could search for listings in various states while some websites are just pertaining to certain cities or states. A little patience and you would locate a number of truly free listing websites.

Another option not popularly utilized by many is banks. Many banks have an REO department that provides foreclosure lists free. This is the bank‘s department in charge with the disposal of properties that the bank had to foreclose and sell to recoup the losses on loans gone badly. By contacting the REO department of your bank, you may even get access to foreclosures before they become public knowledge.

“… Another option is to contact estate realtors. Most realtors list foreclosures along regular property for sale on their websites. Sometimes it may be hard to differentiate both if you contact a realtor they will likely be happy to contact you when a foreclosed home come to the market. Some realtors even arrange for an automated notification service that alerts their clients via email as soon as a foreclosed property centers the market …” H.Milla added.
