They are companies that say they will pay cash for your home a scam?
Sell my house quickly and spoke with a company that says it will to buy a home in a week and pay cash for it. Is it legitimate? If so, how to get the money? The house has increased considerably in value, but because I'm willing to get rid of it quickly, I do not mind a cut in profits if that's how these companies operate.
Yes, I understand, and rightly so! These companies (and individuals), in general, are legitimate. It is an offer to buy a house at a price much lower, perhaps 30% to 60% depending on the location of the property, market conditions, the condition of the property, etc. These investors wish to "flip" the property, or to correct it if necessary, and sell the property at a good profit. Once they do, just do it again and again and again! It is very lucrative for those involved to "overthrow" the property. As an addition, some may think that these investors are taking advantage of people, but if you think about it, are the owners not to sell to investors! For those who want a good, fast, as you said it does, investors are giving a great service. This is a "Win-Win" situation!
