realestate short sale

What are the different types of real estate investment opportunities?

While the rest of the economy is in ruins, and a number record seizures are the owners, real estate investors make thousands of dollars buying and selling homes. How is it possible? It seems that property investors roots knows a thing or two about systems, strategies and investment styles that the average homeowner does not. If you are a real estate investor real grass and you are looking to invest in homes, but do not know how, here are some basic strategies that investors use.

SHORT SALES: A short sale is when you buy a house because the bank is willing to sell for less than what is owed on it. This often happens because banks know they can not withdraw all their losses if will provide a home through foreclosure. So you can buy a house for less than what is owed, and re-sell to another person for a profit.

REO: REO means "real estate to" and this is when the bank took possession of the property. When you buy property are not buying the owner but rather the bank. Banks often will leave the house because it costs thousands of dollars to re-advertise and sell homes and do not want non-income generating real estate on their books.

SUBJECT: Subject to the investment vehicles you buy a house "subject" existing funding. You get the deed to the house, but the original owner retains the mortgages in his name. To take over mortgage payments and Finally, the sale of the writing of another person.

Wholesale: This is where you buy a cheap house, then sell to another real estate investor. I could do well if you set the house and sold to a consumer, but you can return home quickly in this way.

Rehabilitate: This is the strategy known (and well on television) to buy a cheap house and fix it to sell it to someone else. There is little time and money involved in the restoration process, but you can increase the value of your investment.

Owner / Landlord: A well known to buy a property, then hire someone else. Despite that are headaches with this strategy, you get a steady stream of monthly income and capital gains owned over the years.

There are other types of investment real estate, but these are some of the most popular and profitable, and investors are thousands of these methods today.
